LSC Eligibility​

• Active Duty

• Retirees

• Guard and Reserve Military Members

• DOD Employees with a Common Access Card (CAC) for base access​

Horse Entry Requirements

• Negative Coggins test dated within six (6) months prior to entry

• Deworming done twenty-one (21) days prior to entry

• Veterinarian's Health Certificate verifying the following immunizations:

  • Administered within six (6) months:

    • EASTERN & WESTERN ENCEPHALOMYELITIS

    • WEST NILE

    • INFLUENZA/RHINO

  • Administered within one (1) year:

    • TETANUS​​

    • RABIES

  • Strangles and Potomac Fever not required, but highly recommended

Mandatory Quarantine 

• Incoming horses  must be examined by the vet utilized by LSC, in accordance with Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) regulations.

  • Your horse(s) will stay in our quarantine paddock for a minimum of 10 days. 

  • After 10 days, the horse(s) will again be examined by the vet for release from quarantine. 

• A Health Certificate must be dated within 10 days if coming from within Virginia, or within 30 days if coming from out of state.

  • Please  email health certificate to Dr. King (office@pinemeadowequine.com) & the Vice President at LSC (langleysaddleclub@gmail.com) before arrival.
