LSC Eligibility

Active Duty: Individuals from all services assigned to Langley Air Force Base or another installation in the local Tidewater area and their dependent family members.

Retirees: Individuals from all services and their dependent family members living in the local Tidewater area.

Guard and Reserve Military Members

DOD Employees with a Common Access Card (CAC) for base access

Horse Entry Requirements

Negative Coggins test dated within six (6) months prior to entry
-
Deworming done twenty-one (21) days prior to entry

Veterinarian's Health Certificate verifying the following immunizations:

Administered within six (6) months:

EASTERN & WESTERN ENCEPHALOMYELITIS

WEST NILE
-
INFLUENZA/RHINO
-
-
Administered within one (1) year:
-
TETANUS​​

RABIES
-

Strangles and Potomac Fever not required, but highly recommended

The Health Certificate must be dated within seven (7) days if coming from within Virginia, or within ten (10) days if coming from out of state. You will have to email this to Dr. Steven King (office@pinemeadowequine.com) and provide a copy to the club upon arrival.
Upon arrival your horse(s) will be examined by the vet utilized by LSC, in accordance with Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) regulations. Your horse(s) will stay in our quarantine paddock/barn for 10 days. After 10 days, the horse(s) will again be examined by the vet for release from quarantine.
